Bentley School of Motoring has been helping people learn to drive for over 18 years, proudly supporting learners across Bradford and the surrounding areas. Whether you’re starting out as a complete beginner or coming back to driving with some experience, our friendly team of instructors will help you build the skills and confidence you need to pass your test.
We offer both manual and automatic lessons, with both male and female instructors to choose from, you can find the right match for the way you like to learn.
Our instructors are trained to the highest standards, fully DBS checked and committed to safe, client-centred learning. We have an excellent first-time pass rate, competitive hourly rates and some great offers for new drivers.
Your instructor will create a learning plan that’s tailored to you. Beginners usually start in quiet areas to master the basics, before gradually building up to more complex roads and situations. Lessons follow a step-by-step syllabus with regular reviews, mock tests and clear goals, helping you learn quickly and effectively. If you’re already a more experienced driver, we’ll begin with an assessment drive to understand your level and then work with you on a plan to get test-ready.

At Bentley School of Motoring, our principal trainer, Paul Bentley, has almost 20 years of experience in the driver training industry. Paul has been trained to ORDIT standards and is preparing for his ORDIT test, bringing a depth of knowledge and skill that has already helped many trainees qualify as Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs). Most of those who trained with us have gone on to join our team as full-time franchisees – a real testament to the quality of training and support provided.
